Clackamas County Junior Baseball Minutes
Area Heads Meeting
May 7, 2002

Meeting called to order: 8:40 p.m.

Areas Present: Canby, Colton, Country Christian, Gervais, Gladstone, Jackson, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Molalla, North Marion, Oregon City, Putnam, Redland, Sellwood, Silverton, South Clackamas, Sunrise, Tualatin, West Linn, Whiskey Hill, Wilsonville, and Woodburn.
Absent: Keizer and Lakeridge.

Treasurers Report:  No report.

State Meeting:

·           Rosters/waivers and team fees will be provided to State next month.

·           Ron Perry, Keizer, has been elected as the State Secretary.

CCJBA Website: CCJBA is in the process of upgrading the website. Todd Sonflieth is making some changes to the format, and updating information for 2002. Several Area Heads provided positive comments about the improvements that have been occurring to the site.

Team Rosters: Team rosters, waivers and CCJBA Coach Contracts were submitted tonight.

County Books, State Books, Game Results Cards: These items were distributed to Area Heads for distribution to their Area teams.

Waiver Requests: The Board announced decisions regarding waiver requests for 11-player rosters. Requests were approved for South Clackamas Midget National, Wilsonville Senior National, Molalla Senior National (two teams) and Wilsonville Senior American (two teams). Wilsonville noted that the requests for their Senior American teams was withdrawn since these teams now have 12 players.
