Area Head

Position Responsibilities

·        This is a position with voting rights on all issues put forth by the president of CCJBA.

 ·        Requires attendance of all regularly scheduled meetings.

 ·        Responsible to represent your association at all Clackamas County Junior Baseball meetings:

 ·        Reports all State and County activities to your association’s board.

·        Reports all State and County rule changes to your association’s board. 

·        If desirable submit bid to Host a County Tournament to CCJBA board. 

·        If desirable submit bid to host a State Tournament to JBO board. 

·        Responsible to complete and sign Association Application and submit to CCJBA. 

·        Responsible to sign all association team rosters (or waivers) and submit to CCJBA. 

·        Responsible to approve (or disapprove) all waivers submitted by coaches or other associations. 

·        Responsible to reside as liaison between coaches, teams, and players from your association with any State or County issues.

 ·        County Tournament Host responsible to submit request for re-imbursement to CCJBA treasurer.

 ·        Responsible to communicate the mandatory coaches meeting to their Association.

 ·        Responsible to provide proof of insurance coverage for your Association. (Must include a rider to cover “Junior Baseball of Oregon, Inc.” and “Clackamas County Junior Baseball Association”)

The Area Heads term is effective from September to September of the following year.

The Association that they represent will identify their Area Head.
